Currently there isn't too much documentation for TimesheetNG. We have set up a wiki to try and get all documentation (both development and user) down in one place, but at the moment it's early days.

At the moment we are trying to consolidate the updates we've been making to the SVN code into a release. We should have this up before the start of the new year. This will include some more functionality including access control lists, which isn't available in the previous releases, and will hopefully be of use to you.

As for the extra fields, the only advice I can offer is to download a copy from the SVN, hack around and let us know how you get on, either here or in the wiki.

Timesheet Next Gen is all at a pretty early stage of development, but hopefully we'll be moving forward at a greater pace next year.
